This is a pretty sweet video. Reminds me of Chris Cunningham’s monkey drummer video. It’s pretty impressive how they got the heads to spin at the exact rate of the DJ scratching. The video is directed by Chris Cairns.

This cracks me up. The bio reads: I’m 28. I live with my 73-year-old dad. He is awesome. I just write down shit that he says

Always a big fan of Jonathan Glazer’s videos. This Lo-fi video proves he’s still got what it takes. Oh ya and Alison Mosshart is pretty kick ass.

Iamalwayshungry by Nessim Higson. This site reminds of me of the internet website experiments in the 90’s. Html and Photoshop were becoming more and more accessible to designers and that was a time when websites where not websites yet. They were meandering digital playgrounds for experimentation. This is that type of website but for right NOW. Not only is the interface innovative but the design work is excellent as well. The younger brother of this site is Faub.org

Another growing obession of mine is the work of District 9 director Neill Blomkamp. Some people will know his name soon I’m sure. If you havn’t seen D9 yet you should, it’s going to be one of the most influential Sci-fi movies of our generation. Blomkamp has given a voice to the Halo playing Mtv Real World watching generation. Well I’m curious to see what he ends up doing next. Until then here’s some of his work that he did as a visual effects artist.

Another Madmen post. I was listening to my playlist today and  RJD2 came up. Some people might know that he’s responsible for the song playing during the title sequence for Madmen. The song is Beautiful Mine from the album Magnificent City. Check it out here.
